For more than 160 years, LSS has been serving Minnesotans by inspiring hope, changing lives, and building community. With the incredible support of congregations, volunteers, donors, and employees, LSS reaches all 87 counties across Minnesota.
Each year, LSS serves more than 91,000 people—about 1 in every 63 Minnesotans—helping foster safe and supportive homes for children, strengthen health and wellness in families, empower people with identified needs to live full and abundant lives, and promote health, independence, and quality of life for older adults.
At the heart of LSS’s work is a deep commitment to helping neighbors find safety, stability, and connection.
