“I love watching the excitement of my son after worship to go outside and check the Purple Martin nest boxes with the hope of seeing the progress from egg to baby bird to fledgling.”   -Celebration Parent

creation care

Harnessing the passion of our members about God’s work in many and varied ways is a strength of Celebration. One of our current robust ministries connecting us with Creation Care is the addition of a number on bird houses on our property. Being stewards of the mysteries of God includes partnering in the nature that surrounds us.

“We are called to care for the earth as we stand in wonder and awe of all that God has made.”

We check on the progress of the Purple Martins after Sunday Worship!

care ministries

While our Christian life brings us many joys, the human condition also brings us challenges and loss. It is our privilege and calling to accompany one another in those times. Paul writes in Galatians 6:2 Bear one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ. Celebration’s Pastors are willing and available to extend home visits and hospital visits. Please let us know when you or a loved one are experiencing a difficulty so that we may accompany in prayer and where willing, in-person.

If you, or someone close to you, is in need of a visit from a Pastor or Congregational Care Team member, or you would like to speak to our Parish Nurse, please contact the church office.

food support ministry

During the Covid-19 pandemic, a small group of Celebration members gathered via Zoom to ask an urgent question: “How will our neighbors who are sick and quarantined get food and necessities?” The CLC Community FREE Store was born. When the pandemic ended someone said “This feels like a permanent part of who we are now.” So, what began as a few tubs on the curb in front of the church became what is now a bi-monthly distribution of 80 bags of pre-packaged food. Anyone can come and get food or other household/personal hygiene items as needed with no questions asked. Our FREE store is one of the on-going ways that we show compassion for our hungry neighbors.

1st & 3rd Tuesday of each month 10:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.
