Life passages
These milestones mark important steps in our faith journey and remind us of God’s presence through every season of life.

baptism
Baptism is a beautiful and sacred moment—a celebration of God’s promises, love, and grace. At Celebration, we welcome people of all ages to be baptized as part of our faith community. Whether you’re baptizing your child or exploring baptism for yourself, we’re honored to walk alongside you in this meaningful step of faith.
Baptism Preparation Classes
We offer
monthly baptism classes for individuals and families to learn about the significance of baptism, what it means to be part of God’s family, and how we support one another in the journey of faith.
Classes are required prior to baptism and are open to parents and anyone interested in learning more.

first communion
First Communion is a special milestone in a child’s faith journey. At Celebration, we offer First Communion classes twice a year—during February/March and October/November—for students in 1st through 8th grade.
These sessions are designed for children and their parents to attend together, creating a shared experience as they learn about God’s gift of grace through the sacrament of Holy Communion. Together, families explore what Communion means, why we celebrate it, and how it connects us to Jesus and one another.
To sign up or learn more, please contact Nicole.
All are welcome—we look forward to walking this meaningful step of faith with your family!

weddings
Marriage is a beautiful gift from God, meant to bring joy and strength to couples and to bless the entire human family. God created us for companionship, love, and the care of children. Jesus honored marriage, and the Holy Spirit helps married couples show God’s love and faithfulness to the world.
Marriage is also a public event, where vows are made and witnessed. At Celebration, we believe these promises are best supported by gathering with God’s people, hearing God’s word, and praying together for the couple.
If you’d like to celebrate your wedding at Celebration or inquire about having one of our pastors officiate, please contact our office. Please note that we typically officiate weddings for members of our congregation.

funerals
At a person's death, the church shares the grief of those who mourn and remembers the brevity of life on earth. At the funeral we give voice to sorrow, thank God for our loved one, and entrust this companion of ours into the hands of God. Trusting in God's promise in baptism that we are claimed by Christ forever, we rest in the sure hope of the resurrection. When the church gathers to mark the end of life, Christ crucified and risen is the witness of worship, the strength of mutual consolation and the hope of healing.
To inquire about celebrating the life of a loved one at Celebration and/or checking the availability of Celebration’s pastors to offer a service at a funeral home or cemetery, please reach out to our office.
