Thomas Speckhard serves as the Director of Music and Worship at Celebration Lutheran Church, where he works alongside vocalists, instrumentalists, AV volunteers, and the decorating team to create worship experiences that invite participation and inspire reflection. With over 35 years as a professional church musician, Thomas feels called to help people connect with God through music.
Thomas holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Minnesota. His musical background includes performances with the Minnesota Opera, the Minneapolis Guitar Quartet, Théâtre de la Jeune Lune, and the U.S. Air Force Singing Sergeants, as well as teaching at several colleges and leading workshops across the country.
In his free time, Thomas enjoys hearing his children’s band, Sunny Duchess, and spending time in the great outdoors.
