Nicole Oftedahl

Nicole has been serving our youngest learners since 2008.

Fueled by a deep love for Jesus and a passion for kids, Nicole pours her heart into guiding young hearts in faith, fun, and curiosity. Her role focuses on nurturing the faith of children in ages birth-5^th grade and overseeing programs such as First Communion, Sunday school, GodZone, VBS, Day Camp and more!

She’s married to Eric, —they’re “Empty Nest Champions” with two adult children:

• Gavin – soaring the skies as a Delta Airlines pilot, engaged to Coleigh, a medical student they reside in Alabama, where they care for their several chickens, goats, and turkeys in their not so free time. Yes, I have grand animals! 
• Lexy – blazing trails in Big Sky Country (a.k.a. Montana) as a compassionate case manager and social worker. She keeps the family grounded with her big-hearted spirit.

Nicole is a bundle of energy who can be found:

• Studying her Bible with enthusiasm, she is learning every day!
• Crushing fitness & health goals, whether it’s a sunrise gym class, biking, hiking, or trying a new healthy version of a meal.
• Embracing childlike adventure, whether playing games, chasing sunsets, or laughing with pure delight at something silly. Her heart remains young at heart: delighting in simple fun as much as serious play.
• Mastering pickleball with Eric, which may or may not include hilarious attempts at “celebratory victory dances.” (Unfortunately, more like a celebratory score, she hasn’t quite won against Eric…YET!)
• On spontaneous travel adventures, thanks to Gavin’s flight benefits—never say no to an unexpected getaway!

Nicole’s formula for a full and joyful life? A splash of faith, a dash of adventure, a sprinkle of silliness, and a whole lot of love for family, friends, and fun.
