Lead Pastor- Jeff Sackett
Jeff Sackett (ext. 101) joined the Celebration staff in February of 2012. A Rochester native and graduate of St. Olaf College and Luther Seminary, Pastor Sackett has served congregations in East Lansing, Michigan and Marshall, Minnesota. Prior to accepting his call to Celebration, he served fourteen years at South Santiago Lutheran Church in rural Clear Lake, Minnesota. His wife Lisa, is an English teacher in the Becker School District. They have three children, Hannah, Emily and Colin.
Congregational Life Pastor-Elizabeth Strenge
Elizabeth Strenge (ext. 102) joined the Celebration staff in February of 1994. She is a graduate of Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota and Luther Theological Seminary in St. Paul. Pastor Elizabeth was ordained in 1990 and previously served at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, Stewart, Minnesota. Prior to seminary, she was a public school teacher in Blue Earth, Minnesota. Pastor Elizabeth and her husband also served as house-parents for abused and abandoned children in St. Croix, Virgin Islands. Her husband, Larry, formerly served on the staff here at Celebration and is now employed with the ELCA synod. The Strenges have two sons: Daniel and Nathan.
Director of Operations - Terry Hagen
Terry Hagen (ext. 109) joined the Celebration staff in September of 2012 and is a graduate of Saint John’s University with a degree in business management. He has enjoyed a successful career in pharmaceutical and telecommunication sales. Terry enjoys music, reading and sports.
Director of Worship & Music Ministries-Jennifer Ambrosier
Jennifer Ambrosier (ext. 103), Director of Worship and Music Ministries, joined our staff in 2007. Jennifer and her husband, Scott, have three sons, Andrew, Luke and Jonah. Jennifer has a degree in music from the College of St. Catherine and has had many years of experience in music ministry in both Montevideo and Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Director of Volunteer Ministries-Teresa Ahrendt
Teresa Ahrendt (ext. 170), our Director of Volunteer Ministries, joined the Celebration staff in the fall of 1998. She graduated from St. Cloud State with a degree in Marketing. She has business experience as a retail manager, and enjoys volunteering! She and her husband, Greg have three children; Elizabeth, (son-in-law Dan) , Angela, and Spencer and have been members of Celebration since 1986.
Admin. Assistant-Youth and Family Ministries-Rita Bartlett
Rita Bartlett (ext. 108), our Office Coordinator and Administrative Assistant for Youth and Family Ministries, joined the staff of Celebration in October, 2000. She has a Business Major and Office Procedures Degree. She and her husband Larry have three daughters, Bethany, Abby and Emilee, son-in-law, Brandon and two grandchildren, Myla and Ridley.
Director of Youth and Family Ministry-Senior High and Beyond-Alex Becker
Alex Becker (ext. 106), Director of Youth & Family Ministries – Sr. High, joined our staff in August 2010. Alex graduated from Concordia College in the spring of 2009. He coaches football, loves sports and most of all Christ. He has worked at Luther Crest Bible Camp as a counselor. Alex is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity Degree. Alex enjoys hunting, fishing, camping and playing guitar and singing. He and his wife, Gabbie are serving as Song Leaders for our Refuel Worship Services. Alex and Gabbie recently welcomed home baby Ellie.
Director of Youth and Family Ministry-Middle School-Aaron Dowzak
Aaron Dowzak (ext. 107), our Director of Youth & Family Ministries – Middle School, joined the Celebration staff in 2008. Aaron is from Minneapolis, and graduated from Augsburg College, Minneapolis with a degree in Youth and Family Ministry. Aaron has served as a camp counselor, program director & youth minister, and other ministry positions. Aaron and his wife, Emily, have a daughter, Gwendelyn and a second baby on the way.
Pastoral Assistant-Chris Garman
Chris Garman (ext. 100), our Pastoral Administrative Assistant, joined the staff of Celebration in September 2008. Chris and her husband Bob have three children – Miranda, Eden and Beau. She is a graduate from St. Cloud State University with a degree in business management. She has many years experience in retail management and buying, as well as operating a home child care business.
Director of Youth and Family ministry- PRIMARY-Nicole Oftedahl
Nicole Oftedahl (ext. 105), Director of Youth & Family Ministries – Primary
I am honored and overjoyed to be serving in this position at Celebration where I have served since 2008. I am a proud wife to Eric and a mom to Gavin, 14 and Lexy, 12. I graduated from St. Cloud State University in 1994. We have been members of Celebration since 1996 and love the Sartell community. I enjoy the outdoors, cooking, entertaining, lake days, and boating with my family.
My passion is children and teaching them about God’s amazing GRACE and LOVE. I am blessed to be called as one of your Youth and Family Directors.

Assistant Director of Youth and family ministry-primary-Mindi Scholz
Mindi Scholz (ext. 105), our Director of Youth & Family Ministries – Primary Assistant, joined our staff in July 2011. She has a degree in Applied Psychology & Human Relations. She enjoys volunteering and being a mom. She and her husband Daryl have two daughters, Abigail and Grace.
Business Manager -Tammie Yapp
Tammie Yapp (ext 104) joined our staff in July 2010 as our Business Manager. She graduated from NDSU with a business degree and is also employed as a cashier at Sartell High School. She and her husband Keith have three children – Joshua, Jacob and Alyssa and have been members at Celebration since 1999.
