Adult Education

A small group is a gathering of 6-12 people who meet for an agreed-upon purpose. A small group helps us to grow closer to God and to grow closer as the family of God. It is a place to connect within our community, grow as disciples and be transformed. At Celebration we offer a wide variety of opportunities for you to plug into our community. Some of the groups listed here meet for just 1 or 2 times; others will meet for this whole year – and maybe beyond. Small groups meet to have fellowship (connect), grow (learn and study) and serve. Many small groups incorporate elements of all three, but usually have a specific purpose. We pray you find a fit in one of our groups!

 

 

 

 

Small Group/Adult Ed Happenings This Fall:

 

Celebration Life Groups— We all long for a deeper spiritual life.  And our spiritual life grows often best in the context in community. Community can be difficult to find in our busy lives and culture; especially in a large church. Celebration Life Groups are designed to provide a place for people to meet around the Word, prayer and fellowship to help us grow as individuals and as a community. Beginning in October 2009, these groups will meet in homes, coffee shops or wherever necessary to facilitate spiritual growth. Contact Pastor Elizabeth or Erik with interest.

 

Adult Ed—During the 9:35 am Education Hour, beginning Sept. 20, we’ll be walking through the foundational courses from the “Book of Faith” initiative. Join us for one or for all sessions in the Fireside Room to deepen your faith and Biblical understanding.

 

Fueling Faith Connections— meeting every Saturday evening to make connections and spur on faith, for more info, see the Primary page.
